Frequently Asked Questions

When should I book my session?

Ideally, you can book your session in your second or third trimester. I book you in 2 weeks after your estimated due date. Once baby is born, just let me know and we can adjust the session date if needed be.

How old should my baby be?

While 2 weeks old is the recommended age, I do accept babies up to 7 weeks for newborn sessions. Do keep in mind that a baby grows quite a bit between 2 weeks and 7 weeks so the photos and posing for an older baby may look diferent.

What can I expect during baby’s session?

Newborn sessions start at 10 am, as babies tend to be calmer during mornings, on the day, and can last up to 3 hours. This is to allocate sufficient time for feedings, changings, and cuddles. While I do my best to make sure your baby is settled, I do hand them over to parents if I notice they need either a good feed or cuddles from someone who is not a stranger to them. All wraps and props are provided but feel free to bring any items you wish to include in the photos.

What should I bring to the session?

Be sure to bring baby’s milk (if formula fed), a hairbrush for bub, and a pacifier/dummy if they use one. Any light form of quiet entertainments and snacks for yourself or older kids is also encouraged as sessions can take a while.

How long until we can see the photos?

Photos can take up to 2 weeks to be available.

Are you vacicinated?

Yes, I am vacinated with Pfizer against Covid-19 and I am also up to date with the Whooping Cough Vaccine. I also have made a conscious to ensure that all my clients and anyone I personally see have also been vaccinated against Covid-19.
